S1, E6: After their first kiss, nothing changes between Kotoko and Naoki. Kotoko is now a college student, and a powerful love-rival Matsumoto Yuko emerges at the university. Kotoko and Naoki are in different departments, but Kotoko pursues ways to get closer to Naoki. She joins the tennis club he's in, but she cannot keep up with the training. On one of those nights, Kotoko's father decides to leave the Irie home, because he wants Kotoko to give up on Naoki. This comes as a big shock to Kotoko.
