Meanwhile, Buddy is planning their end-of-the-summer party. Jamie enters and confides in Charles that Steven Berkle, the boy she has been dating, has become extremely possessive and she wants to keep her dating horizons open. Charles is warned by Mrs. Powell not to get involved in Jamie's romantic affairs. Later, Jamie tells Charles she took his advice and invited Brad over. Just as Brad is about to invite Jamie to a party -- Steven arrives, complete with flowers, a candle and live music. When Jamie asks what it is about -- Steven says it was Charles' idea...
