S5, E1: Lucy Knight, a third year medical student, begins her first day in the ER. Although she impresses doctors with her ability to answer medical questions, her attempts to help patients are clumsy. Placed on probation, Ross must report every procedure he needs to perform to Weaver. Meanwhile, a paramedic asks Greene to consider acting as the district medical director for EMS (Emergency Medical Service), a voluntary job. Greene's daughter, Rachel, is living with him for the summer. Corday searches for a new fellowship so she can remain in the United States.
