Drought At Indianhead River

S3, E5: Rockford's friend Angel suddenly becomes wealthy and big in real estate, but the price for his affluence includes an unholy alliance with the underworld. While Angel is enjoying his new riches, Rockford learns that the mob plans to assassinate his friend as part of a big tax-swindle plan. When Rockford finally convinces Angel that he is on the "hit" list, mobsters Dominic and David are already searching frantically for their prey.
