Exit Prentiss Carr

S1, E6: Rockford (James Garner), doing a favor for a longtime friend, checks on a philandering husband and finds him dead under mysterious circumstances. When Janet (Corrine Camacho Michaels) asks Rockford to check on Prentiss, who called her in a frenzied state of mind, she's concerned about his health and not his extra-marital activities. Police term the death a suicide but Rockford pursues, further uncovering a ring of blackmailers.
