S1, E17: When Ethan realizes that he doesn't have much of a connection with Palmer (recurring guest star Jaime King), he tells Kyle that he intends to break up with her. But the next time Ethan sees Palmer, he decides not to stop dating her. Unfortunately, Kyle inadvertently reveals Ethan's original plan to Palmer--and now she's the one reconsidering the relationship. Meanwhile, depressed because Duncan is finally done working on her house--and thus won't be with her every day anymore--Nicole makes a big decision.
