S3, E19: Police buff Lianne Sweeney causes problems for Detective Becker when she involves herself in Rockford's search for a mobster lawyer's missing fiancée. Joyce Van Patten guest-stars as Lianne Sweeney, who follows police calls on her citizens band radio. Though she testified for Becker at a departmental hearing, she betrays him to Lt. Chapman in her zeal to get on the "inside" of Rockford's case involving the safety of Patsy Fossler, who is threatened by underworld gunmen. Part 1 of 2.
