S2, E12: When Herman orders Eddie to go to bed, he finds his son playing with a tape recorder that belongs to the father of one of Eddie's friends who is a disc jockey. Herman is unable to resist playing with the machine and soon becomes intrigued by the sound of his own voice as he records a number of his favorite songs. Though he is pleased with his accomplishment, Herman erases the tape and leaves it for Eddie to return.
