A passionate pilot struggles to find the flying opportunities she desires in 1977 Los Angeles. Returning home to Hawaii after her grandfather's death, she is challenged by her ailing grandmother to live life on her own terms, but finds herself at a crossroads when that could mean revealing her grandmother's long-buried secrets, including a possible connection to the world's most famous aviatrix, Amelia Earhart.
