A Resistance

During the Japanese occupation, Koreans fought for nation's independence, sparking the March First Movement in 1919. Inspired by POWs, civilians filled the streets with waving flags and cries for freedom. Student Yu Gwan-sun brought the protest to her hometown, leading to tragic loss including her parents. Yet, her sacrifice became a powerful calling for Korean independence and universal liberty.
