Almosting It

RALPH WHITE-a young aspiring writer-wants nothing more than to be successful at his craft and write worth while Science Fiction. His only problem: insecurities about his own lagging life get in the way of his art. While attending a wedding with his best friend and roommate, Ralph has a run-in with his ex-girlfriend who poignantly tells Ralph to get his life together. Ralph and Maggie work together at a local retirement home, and are very involved in the lives of the baby-boomers with whom they spend much of their time. Ralph is very close with one resident in particular, Chet (Lee Majors)-a suave, retired playboy-who, with his friend Mort (Terry Kiser), make it their goal to show Ralph what his life could be like if he got his act together.
