In this terrifying Spanish film, directed by F. Javier Gutierrez, the inhabitants of the little town of Laguna listen to the news in terror that a giant meteorite is about to collide with Earth in the next three days. Ale, a frustrated young man who lives with his mother and works at odd jobs, decides to spend his last days shut away, getting drunk and listening to his favorite music. But his plans change when he is forced to help his mother, Rosa, protect his brother Tomas' four children when Lucio, an ambiguous, disturbing stranger appears…BEFORE THE FALL took a number of top trophies (acting, directing, cinematography and editing) at Hollywood’s annual Screamfest, which launched PARANORMAL ACTIVITY.
