Broken Lullaby

Paul Renard returns from World War I triumphant yet haunted by guilt over killing a German soldier. Seeking atonement and posing as the soldier's friend, he visits the man's hometown and meets his fiancée, Elsa, and his grieving father. As Elsa and Paul grow closer and the family embraces him, Paul must choose between a confession and a future he never imagined.
