Call Boy

University student Ryo Morinaka (Tori Matsuzaka) lives a boring, monotonous life, but finds it completely transformed when he starts working for Shizuka Mido’s (Sei Matobu) exclusive escort service. Initially embarrassed, Ryo soon discovers a new sense of purpose and fulfillment as he learns to connect deeply with women and fulfill their desires. As he navigates this unconventional job, he must decide whether this taboo profession will finally give him the meaning he’s been seeking. This 2018 Japanese film was adapted from the novel of the same name by Ira Ishida and was directed by Daisuke Miura.
