Charlie Harper

In CHARLIE HARPER, Charlie (Nick Robinson) and Harper (Emilia Jones) share their memories of how they fell in love after high school and their ensuing five-year relationship. It becomes clear that they view ambition differently, with Harper intent on becoming a chef at her own restaurant, and Charlie philosophizing that "people who want more will always want more" and arguing that being content with where you are and what you have should be enough. Charlie also drinks a lot, which becomes a significant problem for the couple. As the years wear on, so do the slights, the annoyances, and the intolerances, and the question hangs: "Is love enough?"
