Before Aaron Sorkin's new film "Trial of the Chicago 7" there was "Conspiracy: The Trial of the Chicago 8". Produced for Cable TV in 1987 this docudrama about the trial of the men accused of conspiring for the protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention combines dramatic recreations, faithful to the trial transcripts with documentary footage and interviews with the actual defendants.
