Crossing a Dawn

Thirty-five-year old interior designer Xu Qiu (Ma Si Chun) has plans to go on a date with a man she met online. While looking for a man matching her date's description, she strikes up a conversation with Chen Yu Zhou (Edward Chen), a handsome younger man. To her surprise, he's not actually her date – and her real date looks nothing like his pictures online. Disheartened but still interested in saving her night, Xu Qiu decides to pursue Yu Zhou in earnest, and he's interested in her, too. Unfortunately, they now have a new problem: they can't find a place to be alone together. Despite constant interruptions, the two spend more time getting to know each other, engaging in unexpectedly introspective conversation along the way and developing a connection that goes beyond mere physical attraction.
