Death on the Brandywine
U.S. Senator Daniel Riley is found dead at his family's grand estate, a gunshot wound to the temple, and the death is ruled a suicide. His daughter Jackie doesn't believe it. She enlists her partner, forensic psychologist Professor Millie Park, to find out what really happened — and the deeper they look, the less the official story holds. Everyone in the Senator's orbit had something to protect. His ambitious son Sean is running for office. His other son Ry is tangled in a crypto corruption scandal. Political operative Vernon Reynolds holds leverage over the whole family. And the Chief of Police seems more interested in closing the case than solving it. Following clues from Daniel's office and piecing together a timeline of the night's visitors, Jackie and Millie work their way through a family that has always chosen its reputation over the truth. Everyone has a motive. Everyone has an alibi. Only one of them is lying. Secrets, lies and alibis.
