Diamonds

The film is set in 1970s Rome and revolves around two sisters-the pragmatic Alberta and the more fragile Gabriella-who manage a large cinema costume atelier. When a demanding, Oscar-winning costume designer tasks them with a massive, time-sensitive order, the busy workroom becomes a hotbed for comedy, drama, and deep interpersonal connections. Interwoven with the tailoring work are the personal struggles of the women, ranging from financial hardships to abusive relationships.
