Wild Grass

Yun Xiao (Sandra Ma), a small-town girl yearning for excitement, moves to the big city with high hopes. Her dreams quickly unravel as life proves challenging and disappointing. Meanwhile, Li Mai (Zhong Chu Xi) faces her own struggles after a tragic accident derails her plans to move to Japan with her boyfriend. Their paths intersect at a dancehall, where they meet Wu Feng (Johnny Huang), a musician entangled with the local mob boss, Commander B (Wang Yan Hui). Realizing their only escape is to leave the city together, Xiao, Mai, and Feng embark on a desperate journey to break free from their nightmarish circumstances.
