Hostage: Missing Celebrity

Hwang Jung Min (played by himself), a renowned Korean film star, becomes the target of a sinister kidnapping plot during his own movie premiere. Initially dismissing the abduction as a prank, Jung Min soon realizes the grave danger he faces when his captors reveal their brutal intentions. Held hostage and demanding an astronomical ransom, Jung Min must find a way to escape within twenty-four hours while facing increasingly violent threats. Trapped and desperate, he must use his wits and resources to survive this terrifying ordeal and outwit his ruthless kidnappers. Based on the 2015 Chinese film "Saving Mr. Wu", this is a 2021 South Korean reality action thriller film directed by Pil Kam Sung.
