Pinocchio Unstrung

In PINOCCHIO UNSTRUNG, young James (Cameron Bell) goes to live with his grandfather, Geppetto (Richard Brake), following his parents' deaths. When James' best pal also dies, Geppetto decides to introduce his grandson to a new friend who can't die: a wooden puppet called Pinocchio (voiced by Jude-Evan Lloyd) that can talk and move. Despite his grandfather's warnings, James takes Pinocchio to school, where the puppet witnesses James being bullied. James off-handedly wishes that his tormentors were dead, and Pinocchio takes the idea to heart. With help from Cricket (voiced by Robert Englund), the puppet dispatches the bullies and then targets a dentist and an inebriated driver, both of whom seemed to bring harm to James. James teams up with his friends Mia (Jessica Balmer) and Dudley (Jack Art Gray) to stop the carnage, but more surprises are in store when they learn Pinocchio's true origins.
