Journey's End

In a British trench on the Western Front during World War I, a small group of officers waits for an inevitable German attack. Among them is Captain Stanhope, a once-idealistic leader now worn down by exhaustion, fear, and alcohol. The arrival of a young officer who idolizes Stanhope forces buried emotions to the surface, exposing the gulf between youthful expectations and battlefield reality.
