Muranow
Warsaw's Muranow neighborhood was once a thriving center of Jewish life before it became the Warsaw Ghetto and was destroyed. Rebuilt from its own rubble, it is now a green and spacious home to thousands of Poles. Some residents say Jewish ghosts still wander its streets, while others see them as a metaphor for the lives and culture buried beneath.
