My Best Summer

Geng Geng (He Lan Dou), a socially awkward but warm-hearted girl, begins her first year at the exclusive Zhen Hua High School with anxiety about fitting in. Her luck changes when she is paired with Yu Huai (Chen Fei Yu), a popular and smart classmate. Despite initial conflicts, they develop a strong friendship, navigating high school challenges together and forming bonds with unique classmates and inspiring teachers. As their relationship deepens, they wonder if their connection might evolve beyond friendship. Based on a novel by Ba Yue Chang An that also inspired the 2016 series "With You," this is a 2019 Chinese movie directed by Zhang Di Sha.
