Purgatory
Living with his brother Bernard in the countryside, Alain Landriault remains silent and isolated after a family trauma that prevents him from living properly in society. In addition to dealing with his nephew Joey who participates in illegal activities and with a therapist who tries to find him a job, Alain develops an unhealthy relationship with Cherry Blossom, whom he meets in an erotic massage parlour. After several meetings with Geneviève, his new psychologist, Alain discovers that he is in a toxic love triangle with Cherry and Évelyne, a teacher he met in a neighborhood karaoke bar. His feelings towards these new women will bring back bad memories and lead him to do something irreparable. These dramatic events will lead him to meet Katherine Laflamme, a rigid lawyer, to represent him.
