The Compatriots

Javi, a young undocumented man brought to the United States as a child, is on the verge of deportation when he bumps into his estranged best friend Hunter, a boisterous bachelor yearning for connection. After exhausting their limited options they recognize that getting married to each other is the only solution, but jealous friends, high school sweethearts, and the US immigration system try to tear them apart. Together, they fight to keep Javi in the only country he's ever known.
