The Letter Writer

Set in 1960s "old Dubai," The Letter Writer tells the story of a young Nationalist Arab boy, who works summers as a professional letter writer for local illiterates. His life takes a turn when an Indian man seeks his help to correspond with an English woman he loves. Mesmerized by her photo, the boy learns English to write on the man's behalf, embarking on a journey of love and loss.
