The Match

In the Scottish village of Inverdoune, Wullie Smith returns home just as Benny's Bar faces losing a century-old wager to rival pub Le Bistro and its owner "Gorgeous" George Gus. Inspired by his feelings for Rosemary Bailey but still haunted by a past trauma, Wullie reluctantly helps a ragtag football squad prepare for a winner-takes-all match that could save the village institution.
