The Tarnished Angels

In 1930s New Orleans, reporter Burke Devlin becomes intrigued by a team of daredevil aerial acrobats—WWI fighter-pilot hero Roger Shumann, his parachutist wife, LaVerne, and their loyal mechanic Jiggs. Burke sees the strain on the troupe as Roger's obsession with flying tests personal boundaries, and he questions the cost of loyalty—and his own feelings for LaVerne.
