A man posing as a real estate agent lures unsuspecting visitors into a derelict house in the Scottish countryside, where one by one they disappear. One night Caroline, a university dropout searching for her estranged father, breaks into the house. As an unseen being begins to reach out to her, she must avoid the increasingly violent real estate agent, who guards the secret of the house through any means necessary.
