Unexpectedly Yours

On the eve of her 50th birthday, Patty (Sharon Cuneta) finds her drunk and desperate self in the arms of Cocoy (Robin Padilla). As it turns out, Cocoy is not only her neighbor, but her old high school schoolmate who’s always been secretly in love with her. Patty unexpectedly finds love and a chance at a new beginning with Cocoy, just as she grapples with issues that come with being a menopausal woman – including an increasingly troubled relationship with her daughter, Yanni (Julia Barretto), who is trying to assert her independence, and being edged out from her own job. Unexpectedly Yours is about how love knows no age or time – it comes when it does, and it’s up to us to let it sweep us off our feet.
