Seven untrained culinary students meet their chef/mentors and cook them their personality on a plate. After realizing how much hard work is required to become a chef, Amanda questions whether she has what it takes.

The students must start from the bottom up, learning how to survive the fast-paced diner environment. A new student arrives, which makes the rest of the house wonder if Amanda is gone for good.

The students compete in a seafood challenge. What they don't know is they will be paired with some of their least favorite house mates. Suki and Will's friendship starts to fracture when they compete head to head.
