Angus Wright

Angus Wright was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Early on, Wright mostly landed roles in various films, including the Robert De Niro thrilling adaptation "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" (1994), "First Knight" (1995) with Sean Connery and the Geena Davis action picture "Cutthroat Island" (1995). He also appeared in "RKO 281" (1999) and "Charlotte Gray" (2001) with Cate Blanchett. Wright worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Affair of the Necklace" (2001), the Charlie Hunnam dramatic adaptation "Nicholas Nickleby" (2002) and "Kingdom of Heaven" (2005). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the crime drama "The Bank Job" (2008) with Jason Statham, the Meryl Streep dramatic biopic "The Iron Lady" (2011) and the Eric Bana thriller "Closed Circuit" (2013). He also appeared in the action movie "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" (2014) with Chris Pine and the Angelina Jolie blockbuster family adventure "Maleficent" (2014). Wright most recently acted in the Felicity Jones smash hit action flick "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016).
