Arabella Weir was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In the early stages of her acting career, Weir was featured in films like "The French Lieutenant's Woman" (1981) with Meryl Streep and "Honest, Decent and True" (1985) with Derrick O'Connor and Adrian Edmondson. She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Traffik" (PBS, 1989-1990). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "My Summer With Des" (1997-98). In the nineties, Weir worked on predominantly television shows such as "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996) and "Goodness Gracious Me" (1997-2000). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe" (BBC, 2011). She also appeared in the comedic drama "Shooting Fish" (1998) with Dan Futterman. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Skins" (2007-2010). Weir most recently acted on "Drifters" (E4, 2013-).
