Beaver meets a crew tearing up the street, which will cause the water supply to be shut off for three hours throughout the neighborhood. He decides to make money by getting water from a different source and charging six cents a glass.

Beaver plays a trick on Benjie where he convinces Benjie that he can turn himself into a rock. Benjie really believes this trick, and won't believe that Beaver is okay unless he can make sure that Beaver is turned back into a boy. The problem is that nobody can find Beaver, because he has gone to his Aunt Martha's house.

A pair of newlyweds leases the house next door to the Addams Family. But the honeymoon loses its tranquility when Uncle Fester enters their house through a tunnel. When invited next door they flee in terror at the sight of Lurch Grandmama sharpening her ax and Morticia and Gomez bathing the octopus.

Beaver and Wally learn a valuable lesson after they become friends with two young boys who have less than they do.

Wally escorts Beaver to Billy Payton's house for the weekend, about 90 miles away from Mayfield. Wally and Beaver stop to get refreshments, but wind up getting on two different buses. Beaver gets on the bus that heads home, while his brother gets on a bus headed for Crystal Falls.

The boys convince their Aunt Martha to let them buy their own tickets home, but are in trouble when they realize they only have enough money to buy one ticket.
