Gene LeBell

Gene LeBell worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. LeBell began his acting career with roles in such films as the Jim Brown thriller "The Split" (1968), the Fred "The Hammer" Williamson action picture "Hammer" (1972) and "Slaughter's Big Rip-Off" (1973). He also appeared in "Almost Summer" (1978) and the comedy "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978) with Nancy Allen. In the eighties, LeBell devoted his time to various credits, such as "Number One With a Bullet" (1987), "The Lost Boys" (1987) starring Jason Patric and "Aloha Summer" (1988) starring Chris Makepeace. He also worked on "Dead Heat" (1988). LeBell continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Money Train" (1995) starring Wesley Snipes, "Jingle All the Way" with Arnold Schwarzenegger (1996) and "Dante's Peak" with Pierce Brosnan (1997). His credits also expanded to "Trial and Error" (1997) and "Vegas Vacation" (1997) starring Chevy Chase. LeBell most recently appeared on the Mickey Rourke documentary "I Am Bruce Lee" (2012). Gene LeBell died on August 9, 2022 at the age of 89.
