Ginny Weirick
American actress Ginny Weirick has made a name for herself playing lead characters in thriller and action films. A native of California, Weirick studied theatre arts at San Diego State University, with an emphasis in performance. Her first lead came in the web series "Devil's Trade" in 2007, as Anna, a cursed teenager. She would continue her work in the supernatural genre with her best known lead role in the 2009 romantic thriller "Dark Moon Rising." Her character, Amy, falls in love with Dan (Chris Devecchio) a man who is cursed with the ability to transform into a werewolf. The role earned her a 2009 Freak Show Horror Film Festival award for Best Actress. Premiering amidst the "Twilight" phenomenon, Weirick said she did audition for the lead in the vampire drama series. She has since appeared in popular American television series including the medical drama "Private Practice" and in the crime drama "NCIS." Her career has evolved to more main roles in film and television, remaining in the thriller genre. In 2011, she starred as Sydney Campbell in "The Hit List," an action thriller about a man who drunkenly makes a hit list with a stranger at a bar with deadly consequences.
