Hercules and Iolaus (Kevin Sorbo, Michael Hurst) challenge a wealthy couple's (Ian Mune, Alison Bruce) practice of forcing slaves to battle wild animals as a form of sadistic entertainment. They deliberately get themselves thrown into prison and when the sadistic wife orders the gladiators to fight to the death, Hercules is brought forth to battle.

When Kahlan’s homeland of Aydindril is taken over by the ruthless Prince Fyren, she and Zedd realize they must go to the legendary city to reclaim it from the tyrant, leaving Richard and Cara to continue the search for the Stone of Tears. However, when a magical accident occurs that seems to have stripped Kahlan of her powers, Richard soon realizes the situation is more complex--and dangerous--than it first appears.

The enemy kingdoms of Syros and Delos declare peace when the heirs to both thrones decide to get married. However, the goddess Aphrodite won't let that happen, so she uses Iolaus to stop the wedding.
