Annabeth Schott (recurring guest star Kristin Chenoweth - "The Music Man"), the new press secretary, has been on the job for only a week and is preparing to encounter the press corps for the first time. Toby worries that she looks too young and may not be ready for the corps' probing questions.

The remnants of an alien ship and two frozen cybernetic bodies are uncovered in the Arctic by a research team. These aliens soon thaw out and flee Earth, taking the research team with them.
