Patricia Tallman

Actress Patricia Tallman most often appears in either the horror or science fiction genres, and also does stunt work for other actresses. Tallman began acting as a teenager, when she performed in summer stock at the Red Barn Theatre in Saugatuck, Michigan, before attending Carnegie Mellon University, eventually earning a B.F.A. in its prestigious theater arts program. After relocating to New York City, Tallman began securing movie roles in the early 1980s low-budget action drama "Knightriders," the Troma Studios sex comedy "Stuck on You!," etc.). Tallman would continue in films (a remake of the horror classic "Night of the Living Dead," Bruce Campbell's "Army of Darkness," etc.) and science fiction television programs ("Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," etc.) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. But it was her role as Lyta Alexander on the cult 1990s science fiction series "Babylon 5" that would be the best known of Tallman's career; she appeared in 47 episodes from 1995 through 1998.
