Ron Rogge

Ron Roggé is a veteran character actor from a variety of film and television projects. Over the years, however, he's also performed a number of different production jobs, including working as a casting assistant, as well as producing, directing, and writing a handful of short films. He is probably best known as the human mentor and head of the Lightspeed Aquabase, Captain William Mitchell, on the action-packed kids show "Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue." The by-the-book character was frequently criticized by the Rangers for adhering too closely to the rules or for being cryptic about his true motives for accomplishing objectives. By the end of an episode, however, Mitchell was usually proven to be in the right and the Rangers learned yet again that their mentor was only being strict for their own good. He also did voice work on a number of the "Power Rangers" video games. Roggé has appeared in other fantasy/science fiction shows, including a single episode of the cult favorite "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and he provided the voice of two characters on the space anime feature "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie." Over the years he's also guest starred on a number of crime shows, such as "Castle," "CSI: Miami," and "Harry's Law"; and soap operas, including parts on "The Bold and the Beautiful," "All My Children," and "Days of Our Lives." When not acting on screen, Roggé performs regularly on stage and operates haunted houses during Halloween in Los Angeles.
