Corday, anxious to celebrate Halloween, gets a pleasant surprise from Benton, who dresses like the '70s film character John Shaft for a special date. Weaver gets disappointing news regarding her quest as Chief of Emergency Medicine.

Hathaway finally makes an appointment to consult an obstetrician about her own pregnancy. Lucy begins her psychiatric rotation, but the patients don't take her seriously because she's so young. Greene helps Mobalage so he can testify at his own deportation hearing. Hathaway befriends a paranoid schizophrenic who delivers a normal baby.

Jeanie treats a reverend who offers healing prayers in return. Hathaway's ultrasound is good.
