Smith Ballew

Smith Ballew worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Ballew's career beginnings include film roles in "Racing Lady" (1937), "Roll Along Cowboy" (1937), and "Western Gold" (1937). Ballew next focused his career on film, appearing in "Hawaiian Buckaroo" (1938), "Panamint's Bad Man" (1938) and "Rawhide" (1938). He also appeared in "Gaucho Serenade" (1940). Toward the end of his career, Ballew acted in "The Man Who Walked Alone" (1945). Smith Ballew passed away in May 1984 at the age of 82.
