
Kyle Busch
Kyle Busch was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and was active in go-kart racing and stock car driving in his youth. His national NASCAR debut was in 2001, at 16 years old, and he stayed with the organization through the 2007 season. He went on to join Joe Gibbs racing for a fifteen year career and then he joined Richard Childress Racing in 2023. Some of his career highlights include NASCAR Rookie of the Year for both the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series and 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and he was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers (2023). Busch's final Cup race was the 2026 Go Bowling at The Glen, where he finished in eighth place. Kyle Bush suffered from severe pneumonia that progressed in sepsis. Kyle Busch died on May 21, 2026 in Charlotte, NC at the age of 41.
