In the premiere episode of this daring new series, Vivica A. Fox introduces the men to Stacey, a beautiful and successful real estate broker from Arizona. Divorced, Stacey just happens to prefer the company—and energy—of younger men. She's ready to meet someone special, and her intuition makes her hopeful that one of these 20 men may be the one. The Cougar's entrance wows the young men. Most score good first impressions, but a few bomb! Will they be able to recover? At the house, the guys jockey for one-on-one time with Stacey, and some of the guys make desperate grabs for attention! It doesn't take long for the boys to stop being polite and start being competitive—the testosterone levels in the house are sky-high! Strategies are unveiled and analyzed as they size each other up. Two of them quickly establish an ugly rivalry. Could it come to blows on the very first night? Finally, in the dramatic kiss-off ceremony, Stacey has to separate the men from the boys..

Stacey and the remaining guys move into the Malibu mansion and the quest for the Cougar's heart continues. For the first challenge, the guys must design a custom workout regimen to help the Cougar stay in shape. Who will take the Cougar for a piggyback ride, and who will bust out the ThighMaster? Ultimately, Stacey chooses five guys to join her roller-skating that night. In a surprise twist, she decides to send one unlucky guy home. The next day is a very special one for Stacey: her actual 40th birthday. The guys compete for that night's one-on-one date by buying her the perfect birthday gift. Whose night ends with a passionate kiss? After a wild birthday party, host Vivica A. Fox gathers the remaining guys for another heartbreaking elimination. Those who survive are left to continue the journey that will ultimately end with the Cougar's heart.

With quite a few handsome young men remaining in the Malibu mansion, competition for the Cougar’s heart is fierce. Host Vivica A. Fox kicks things off with a challenge: The guys have to hold a talent show and the most entertaining of them will accompany Stacey on a group date. After the date, she seeks comfort in the arms of the one man she knows she has a connection with. For the next challenge, Stacey asks the guys to buy her an evening dress for a one-on-one date. She selects her favorite gown, and takes the guywho picked it to a sophisticated restaurant for dinner. After the date, Stacey returns home to another difficult kiss-off and has to break the hearts of the men whom she doesn't see a future with. Which young man will ultimately succeed in winning the love of the Cougar?

Things are getting serious for The Cougar. Host Vivica A. Fox gathers the guys and challenges them to anonymously reveal their deepest, darkest secret to Stacey. Stacey chooses one man who admitted he cheated on an ex-girlfriend and one man who spent time in drug rehab. The two men go on a skydiving date with her, but only one of them returns from it as Stacey sends one brokenhearted guy packing. For the next challenge, Stacey asks the guys to perform an original song that communicates how they feel about her. Stacey takes the winner to a theater where the couple connects over a romantic dinner and a surprise live concert. The couple returns home, only to be shocked to find one of the other guys in tears at the prospect of elimination. More guys are sent home during an emotional elimination ceremony. The men who remain in the house each have a strong connection with the Cougar and an even stronger desire to win her heart.

Stacey chooses two winners in a kissing contest who join her for a steamy date in a Santa Barbara winery. Back at the house, tempers flare and the guys fight. The next day at the beach, Stacey spends time with each finalist before sending two guys home.

Are the finalists' families ready to accept the love of a Cougar? Stacey has four "family dates" and only one goes well-though two dates end with the couple retiring to her "Cougar den." She gives one guy the kiss off, leaving just 3 finalists!
