Leslie celebrates her new country club membership by taking a few of the other moms out for a round of golf. When Melissa and Connie learn that she's a pageant coach, they sign their daughters up for lessons. Leslie's daughter Kalyn volunteers to help train Maddie and Grace for their very first pageant--but when Melissa discovers that Leslie wants the girls to lose weight, she jumps at every chance to take Maddie out of the competition. Meanwhile, Bonnie's daughter Whitney starts skipping class and uses it as leverage to get a boob job, and Pam stresses out when her daughter Hannah misses her flight home from college.

When Leslie's attractive son Tyler comes to visit, he instantly catches Whitney's eye. Determined to make him hers, Whitney pulls out all the stops to charm Tyler, but his godsister Kalyn isn't ready to share him so easily. The two start competing for his attention, and things get heated when Kalyn and Whitney get into a fight at Hannah's pool party, forcing Tyler to choose between them. Meanwhile, Connie plans to host a fashion show for her consignment shop, and Leslie and Bonnie plot to make some much-needed changes at the country club while Pam is away.

With Leslie's help, Melissa tries to break back into modeling, but is harshly reminded of what a cutthroat business it really is. As if her career troubles weren't stressful enough, her daughter Maddie starts hanging out with boys behind her back. Meanwhile, Bonnie plans a murder mystery dinner party, but when she learns that Pam is on a mission to sabotage her bash, Bonnie plots a way to get back at her. Plus, Leslie goes on a date with a much younger man, and Connie's laid-back parenting style gets her in trouble with a fellow mom.

Kalyn begins to feel like Leslie is treating her less like a goddaughter and more like a pageant girl in training. She yearns for a good mother figure in her life--but her tantrums are getting out of control, and Leslie doesn't know where to draw the line. Instead of communicating with Leslie, Kalyn starts acting out--and Leslie considers sending her back to California. Meanwhile, Melissa is adjusting to her new role as plus size model--but the title brings up old insecurities about her weight. Plus, Pamela puts Hannah to work as her assistant for the rest of the summer but all Hannah wants to do is have fun with her friends.

Even though the country club has a strict policy against workers dating members, Leslie starts flirting with her young and handsome golf instructor. When Pamela invites her over for a dinner party, Leslie brings along her new love interest. But instead of being greeted like a welcomed guest, Pamela begins to size her up in front of all of her friends. Leslie tries to maintain her pageant-like composure, but Pamela keeps pointing out inconsistencies in Leslie's stories about becoming a millionaire. Plus, Melissa gives Maddie the green light to start dating and Whitney gets annoyed with Bonnie for interrupting her studies.

Although Pamela and Bonnie don't see eye to eye, their daughters Hannah and Whitney have no problem hanging out together--so when Whitney discovers Hannah knows how to shoot a gun, she jumps at the chance to go to a shooting range with Hannah and her mom. Whitney quickly picks up some gun slinging skills, and it's not long before she decides she wants to buy her own firearm. But guns and country club members don't mix--and Bonnie is forced to fight to keep her daughter's membership intact at the club once again. Plus, Kalyn's mom starts to show her true colors and Maddie begs her mom to not start dating.
