Kofi who is just eleven years old is is rushed into Resus, critically injured after being hit by a van. Roger Jackson who is seventy three years old is attempting to come to terms with his own mortality.

Chris Lacy finds himself being tested to the limits after three trauma patients arrive in quick succession. One of them has been shot in the face another has been stabbed in the chest and a third has been knifed in his head.
