Fifth Ward is an episodic series that captures the gamut of problems that plague inner city communities through the eyes of three generations of the Kennedys, an extended black family living in the neighborhood known as Fifth Ward since the 1950's.

Keepin it Trill
Life in Houston's Fifth Ward is seen through the eyes of single mom, Mina, and her sons. Councilman Davis manuvers through politcal minefields with the Mayor and Rev. Parker. Officer Robert Kennedy embraces his past in Fifth Ward after a promotion.
EPISODE 2
Da Nickel
Mina faces challeges adjusting to her new job facing condenation from every corner. Robert tries to get closer to his estranged nephews. Mina's son, Ray Ray, gets into trouble with his best friend Bam working for crime boss, Seth.
EPISODE 3
Elbows and Vogues
The death of a latino kid on the wrong side of the tracks creates tension. Robert and his next in command, Sones, try to diffuse the problem. Ray Ray and Jazmine fall for each other much to the dismay of Bam and her friends.
EPISODE 4
Aw' Ready
Davis breaks it off with Marcie. Robert and Sones try to strategize a peace between Carlos and Seth's crews before it esculates further. Mina gets in deeper at her new job working for Blue. Jazmine enters Ray Ray into the H-town Rap Battle.
EPISODE 5
Flossin'
The Mayor makes plans to bring Davis down. Mina and Blue connect. James has a birthday party. Jazmine and her friends attend. Ray Ray and Bam try to get back into the studio.
EPISODE 6
Candy
Ray Ray and Bam preform in the Rap Battle. Robert and Sones prepare for the Truce meeting. Mina prepares for a new future. Davis is cornered. Blue takes command.
