A Lady

Valeria receives a visitor who takes her hand. Blindfolded, she is unable to tell that it is the prosecutor Miguel Reyes. Eager to know if he is a doctor, Miguel - instead of answering her - offers to help her, but Valeria is desperate to know the identity of her visitor.1

Although it is not visiting hours, Encarnación shows up at the prison to talk to Valeria. There she learns that the young woman is in the hospital. For his part, Miguel enters Valeria's room and finds it empty. Angry, he cannot believe he is lost. Valeria gets out of the cab at the bus terminal. Two "malandros" harass her and she faces them with aplomb.
